Hypnotic Clambake thanks all our fans that came out and joined us for a great festival. We also thank all the bands that participated, and we give a special thank you to Snake Oil Medicine Show who helped us set up for 3 days before the event even started.

Come pitch your tents and experience one of western New York's most eclectic music festivals. Zydeco, Reggae, Bluegrass, Rock & Roll, Blues and great original music from some of the country's most sought after Jam Bands. Included in this fun filled weekend will be a full Ultimate Frisbee Course hosted by Edinboro University's Ultimate Frisbee team. Also, bring your percussion instruments and join David Weinberg in his Djembe workshop being held on Saturday afternoon in the Percussion Hut. Comedy by Danielle, English rocker Leigh Stoner, and 20 foot hand made larger than life sized puppets dancing in the crowd will be joining you on this wild and fun filled revival weekend.

Also a Djembe workshop will be held by David Weinberg. A Djembe (pronounced jem-bay) is an African drum. Anyone who plans on attending is encouraged by David to bring a percussive instrument.

Brushwood also has some of the best bonfires you've ever seen, starting at dark and going into the wee hours of the morning, long after the music has stopped. Along with bonfire are some of the finest drum circles you will ever see and hear.

Gates open at 1:00 PM on Friday June 15th.

Music will be performed from
7:00 PM - 12:00 AM Friday the 15th &
Noon - 2:00 AM on Saturday the 16th

Tickets in advance are: $35 for Friday and Saturday (includes camping both nights),
or $30 for just Saturday (includes camping Sat. night).

For tickets at the gate, add $5 more to each of the prices mentioned.
Free car parking (RV Parking $10.00 extra), hot showers and flush toilets are available.
There will also be vendors selling trinkets and fresh food and drink.

In addition to great music, food, and vendors, we are excited to announce that EPUFA (the Erie PA Ultimate Frisbee Association) will be providing an Ultimate Frisbee Field for all to use FREE of charge with concert admission.

Friday & Saturday games will be held approximately every hour. You will be
able to sign up for a time slot, or simply drop by and join in on a game.
Play with a group of friends, or meet some new people while throwing the
disc. The format will be standard Coed UPA rules - 7 v7.

Directions to the Brushwood Folklore Center in Sherman, NY

Sherman, NY is located in between Erie, PA and Jamestown, NY
off of I-86 (formally Rte. 17), west of Chautauqua Lake in the Southwestern part of the state.

From the NW, SW, W: Take 90 East past Erie, PA. Get on I-86 (formally Rte. 17) and go
east to Exit 6 (Sherman) From SE, E: Take 17 West through Jamestown to Exit 6 (Sherman).

From NE, N: Take 90 west to Westfield. Use exit 60 & go south on 394 to
Mayville (about 7 mi) at light, turn (west) on 430 & take into Sherman.

Sherman to Brushwood Folklore Center: Sherman's only 1 block long (Main St. is Rte. 430).
Go to west end of Main St. (Ford dealer on corner) and turn
south onto Co. Rd. 15. Go 3 miles to first 4-way intersection,
which is Bailey Hill Rd. Turn Right (west) on Bailey Hill Rd. & go 1 mile.
Brushwood is on the left with a sign. If you get lost call (716) 761-6750.

 

LAND RULES
1. No pets or fireworks. NO EXCEPTIONS
2. All persons under 18 must attend festival with a parent or responsible adult.
3. Failure to abide by all New State laws and Brushwood rules while on festival
site will be cause for removal.
4. All attendees must vacate festival site by 2:00pm Sunday.
5. No bottles or glass containers.
6. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event. Tickets are non-refundable.
